In the third quarter of 2021, the top Art and Design applications in Denmark showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Sketchbook experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at around $33 in late June and dropping to $15 by mid-September. Weekly downloads showed a positive trend, rising from 574 in late June to 797 by the end of September. Active users also saw a gradual increase, growing from 4.2K to 4.5K over the quarter.

Canva: Design, Art & AI Editor saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $2K in late June and peaking at around $3.3K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase from 887 in late June to 1.1K in early September, before settling at 929 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained strong, growing steadily from 8.9K to 9.2K.

ibis Paint X showed varied weekly revenue, starting at $79 in late June and peaking at $95 by the end of September. Downloads saw a slight decline from 898 in late June to 684 by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 5.7K throughout the quarter.

Stickman: draw animation maker had minimal weekly revenue, consistently at $1 for the initial weeks and then dropping to zero. Downloads peaked at 330 in mid-July but gradually declined to 38 by the end of September. Active users also saw a peak of 523 in mid-July but dropped to 94 by the end of the quarter.

Invitation maker & Card Design had modest weekly revenue, peaking at $14 in mid-July and then fluctuating around $2 towards the end of the quarter. Downloads showed a peak of 143 in early July, with a decline to 39 by the end of September. Active users saw a gradual decline from 260 in late June to 192 by the end of the quarter.
